This Is a Private Reference. Long Beach Residents Directory is not a government office or records custodian. It cannot pull records, certify copies, confirm who lives at an address, or change a roll. For an emergency, call 911. If you believe you are being stalked or harassed, contact local police.

Looking for a Specific Record?

Choose the office that keeps the record rather than sending a request to a directory reference.

  • Street or parcel work: use the Long Beach by-street page for the assessor, map, deed, permit, voter, and reverse-directory chain.
  • Older volumes and past households: use the Long Beach city-directory collections route for library access.
  • One person: use the Long Beach resident lookup page to choose the court, vital, license, business, or historical custodian.
  • City administrative records: start with the Long Beach City Clerk public-records page and its GovQA route.
  • County real estate: use the LA County RR/CC real-estate page; the recorder’s index is handled through counter and mail channels rather than an open web search.
  • Records outside the portal: request an existing identifiable record under the California Public Records Act, Government Code sections 7920.000 and following, from the responsible custodian.

Public-record requests should name the record, date range, address, permit, incident, project, case, or document number when known. The City normally makes a CPRA determination within 10 days and may send a written extension of up to 14 additional days for unusual circumstances. Inspection is generally free; direct duplication or extraction costs can apply.
